Terms
Terms of use
Last updated October 13, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Embed AI Solutions, Ltd, which runs Artisthere. By using Artisthere you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it. How we handle your information is in our Privacy policy.
1. What this is
Artisthere is a free guide to what's on near you: shows, artists, venues and public work, sorted by when and how close. Most listings come from public sources — venue and festival calendars, ticketing listings, label rosters, the City of Vancouver's public art registry, music databases — and are updated daily.
Check before you go. Shows move, sell out and get cancelled, and a source can be wrong. The venue or the ticket seller has the final word on times, prices and entry.
2. Tickets and links out
We don't sell tickets, music or art, and we never take a cut. “Get tickets ↗”, “Listen ↗” and “Where to find the work ↗” are plain links to other sites. Whatever you pay for there is between you and them, under their terms. We're not responsible for those sites or what they sell.
3. Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to make an account.
- Give a real email address, and keep your password to yourself.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else is using it, tell us at privacy@artisthere.ca.
- You can stop using Artisthere at any time. To delete your account and everything saved to it, write to us from the address on the account.
4. For artists
Artists are listed from public sources, whether or not they've signed up. Every artist's row looks the same and is ordered by when and where — nobody can pay to move up, and nothing is ranked by popularity.
- Marking a listing as yours. Only mark a listing as your own if it's you, or you're authorised to act for that artist.
- What you add is yours. You keep ownership of anything you write or upload. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and show it on Artisthere, and in links and previews that point to it, for as long as it's on Artisthere.
- It has to be accurate and yours to share. Don't add anything you don't have the rights to, or that misleads people about who you are or when you're on.
- Corrections and removals. If something about you is wrong, or you'd rather not be listed, write to privacy@artisthere.ca and we'll fix it or take it down.
5. What you can't do
- Pretend to be an artist, venue or anyone else.
- Post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing or infringing.
- Get around the site's security or access limits, or get into accounts or data that aren't yours.
- Overload or disrupt the service. Automated access has to follow our robots.txt and go gently; use the public API at /api/v1 where it covers what you need.
- Use Artisthere to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
We can take down anything that breaks these rules, and suspend or close the account behind it.
6. Who owns what
The Artisthere name, design and code belong to Embed AI Solutions, Ltd. Photos, artwork and descriptions from other sources belong to their owners and are credited where they appear; tell us at privacy@artisthere.ca if something of yours is shown and shouldn't be, and we'll take it down.
7. No guarantees
Artisthere is free and provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we don't promise that listings are complete or correct, or that the service will always be available. To the fullest extent the law allows, Embed AI Solutions, Ltd isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that comes from relying on a listing — a cancelled show, a changed time, a ticket from another site. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.
8. Changes
We may change Artisthere and these terms. When the terms change, we'll update the date at the top; for a change that matters, we'll say so on the site, or by email if you have an account, before it takes effect. Using Artisthere after that means you accept the new terms.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of British Columbia, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
