Dana Claxton works with film, video, photography, and performance, exploring Indigenous beauty, the body, the socio-political, and the spiritual. A member of Wood Mountain Lakota First Nations, she has two permanent public works in Vancouver: Elk for c̓əsnaʔəm at City Centre Station and Sitting Bull in Vancouver at šxʷeχʷən Xwtl'a7shn Plaza.
