Scott Billings makes sculptures and video installations that sit somewhere between cinema and automata, probing how physical machinery relates to the virtual motion it produces. Trained in mechanical engineering, fine art, and design, he teaches at UBC and Emily Carr, and has work installed at Canada Line City Centre Station.
