About

Lauraine Mak splits her time between Vancouver and Düsseldorf, making paintings, sculptures, and moving-image works that dig into philosophy, political theory, and mass production. She holds a BFA from Emily Carr University and completed her MFA at Simon Fraser's School for the Contemporary Arts in 2024.
