Asim Waqif trained in architecture in New Delhi and builds site-specific installations from salvaged materials — bamboo in India and Asia, discarded wood, metal, wiring, and plastic waste in Europe. His works have been installed at venues including the Palais de Tokyo in Paris and the Asia Pacific Triennial in Brisbane.
